Kmart Doubles - Update

And unfortunately its not a good one...
There were updates swirling all over the blog community that only Proctor & Gamble coupons would be doubled and all other coupons would be redeemed at face value. Well I decided to investigate this myself, emailing the same place that had sent me the info when I inquired about participating store locations. Why they failed to address it the first time, is beyond me. It is possible that they decided to do this after I received the email response. Whatever the reason, I am disappointed. Here is the email they sent me today:

Dear Melissa,
Thank you for your recent correspondence. We are always interested in hearing from our customers. We appreciate your interest in our double coupon event.
The rules for this event are:
Kmart is participating in the "Double Your P & G Brand Saver Coupons" which will be advertised in Sunday, Sept 27th newspaper.
The event is running from 9/27/09 through 10/3/2009.
All Procter & Gamble coupons that include the name "Procter & Gamble" in the coupon disclosure areincluded.
If this verbiage does not appear in the disclosure, the coupon can be accepted at face value only.
The limit is 10 doubled coupons, per day, per customer.
Again, thank you for your interest in our Kmart Double Coupon Event.
